when we think of entertaining younger people.

creating things. Craft activities allow them to be
be physically and mentally alert and to learn while enjoying themselves.
Keep a box of crayons, colourimng pencils and paints in the house,
children (and adults) love coloring.
Cotton is also useful when it comes to arts and crafts.

There are many recipes that you can follow - create giant marshmallows and put them together to make of a tasty and mini snowman.
Try using Plaster of Paris to make snow footprints.
Fill a box lid or any other recycled item with plaster of Paris.
As the plaster settles, and dried out, create different footprints in the snow.
Make a bird feeder out of a pine cone.
Use peanut butter to cover the pine cone and dip into bird seeds.
Tie a small piece of string to any of the pine cones
and hang up outside in the branches of a tree.
As well as feeding the birds these pine cones can be quite ornamental
If you have fruit trees that you would rather not share with the birds
you can reuse old CD's - tie two together with the silver shiny side facing outwards and hang in a tree.
It makes a great mobile with dancing reflected sunlight (and may even scare off the birds).
Use Glitter with any child craf activity to make the finished article more beautiful and fancier.
For example, you can cut out snowflakes from paper or card and just simply add glitter for an impressive result.
Make paper dolls - cut out and colour in various outfits for the paper dolls.
